The Neck
Before we get into the exercises, it’s important to understand why the neck changes over time.
The neck is one of the most overworked—and most overlooked—areas of the body. It’s constantly holding tension from posture, stress, and repetitive movement patterns, and all of that directly impacts how our face ages. What most people don’t realize is that the neck and face are deeply connected. When the muscles in the neck become tight and shortened, and the fascia becomes restricted, it can start to pull everything downward.
Over time, this can contribute to fine lines, crow’s feet, and a loss of definition through the jawline—along with visible aging in the neck itself. It’s actually one of the main reasons the neck is often the first place we notice signs of aging.
Enjoy!
